Description |
A very rugged heavy screen with deep open work carvings. Quite superb, this piece is of museum calibre. The carving is in deep cinnabar red gilded with gold, whilst the screen frame is mainly black. A very handsome piece which would make a very substantial and beautiful overmantel mirror, with antique-style or contemporary mirror glass. |
