Description |
A most beautiful and opulent camphor wood bed screen. Its background is lacquered black within which are carved ancient Chinese garden scenes. The inset carved panels depict Chinese family scenes and are washed in gold with deep red and deep green backgrounds. This is probably one of the most striking screens Golden Pioneer has imported. This would make a magnificent overmantel mirror, with antique-style or contemporary mirror glass. |
