A beautifully detailed red lacquer and gold camphor and hardwood bed screen. Its carvings are very delicate with open work carved scenes washed in gold. Full of character, this piece depicts Chinese symbols of good luck and health. This screen would make a very attractive overmantel mirror, with antique-style or contemporary mirror glass. |
