Description |
A magnificent and dramatic circular carved screen. A very unusual piece with detailed carvings of ancient Chinese family scenes set into panels surrounded by a beautiful mosaic of crushed mother of pearl. This is a forgotten art unable to be replicated in China today. The wood surround is an attractive dark oak colour and the carvings are brushed with antique gold. A splendid piece, would make a very impressive half tester emperor bed. |
