A heavily carved old Chinese bed screen worthy of museum status. This screen has its original inserts of hand painted porcelain depicting elegantly dressed ancient Chinese ladies. The intricate open work carvings are washed in antique gold and depict Chinese symbols of good luck and prosperity. This screen is lacquered in black and deep burgundy and has already been made into a very handsome four poster emperor bed with a black wood finish to compliment the screen. |
